    Dear Patrik Chan,
Thanks for your inspiring and informative video.Your words gave me a new perspective about focus.Your idea of ‘total emotion’ is a fantastic one which worked for me in my life.Unknowingly I have benifited from this idea in many ways.Anyway thanks for your great video.

  4. Josh Harris says:

    Hi Patric,

In a way, I find it almost funny that last week I had mentioned
focus and taekwondo in my reply… and this week, focus and
an analogy to kickboxing are points in the video. =)

I won’t go any further into the focus aspect, since you have
done it already. But I would like to touch upon another idea
that comes from Tony Robbins, and it goes hand in hand
with the full-immersion you talk about.

The concept had been there long before Robbins popularised
it, and the Japanese called it ‘Kaizen’ – or ‘good change’.

Robbins called his elaboration of this idea ‘CANI’, which stands
for ‘Constant And Neverending Improvement’. It’s about doing
something everyday, no matter how small, that brings you
closer and closer to your objective. It’s about taking all
those baby steps, which then result in you having walked
a mile. It’s about being committed to getting there, no
    matter what it takes.

And when you embrace a full-immersion mindset, you also
need to adopt the attitude of CANI; if you are not doing this,
then you are not fully immersed.

You need to take action, and I am glad you said it. It’s easy
to read a book to get a vision of what a process consists of.
But there is also a massive difference between what are known
as ‘vision mindset’ and ‘process mindset’.

And that’s where people often fall down. Anyone can visualise
driving a Ferrari, and having 6 zeros added on to his bank assets.
But how many people actually can understand and embrace the
‘process mindset’, where it requires action? They are different.

It won’t happen without action. Once you’re focused, get moving.

Focus and CANI help you along the way to define your process
mindset, as well as sticking to it. You fall down, you make the
mistakes, but it’s what will keep you on track as you work to
    achieve your goals.

  6. Andrew says:

    Hi Patric,

Thanks for the inspiring video. I learn that in order to make something happen, taking action alone is not enough, but taking massive action will make all the differences. Being total immersion in action will accelerate the speed of achieving success. Also, I’m total agree with you that we should never close the door to any opportunity that comes along, but being alert and choose opportunities that come best to us. Look forward for next video!~

  7. Donna KB says:

Hi Patric- I was just trying to find you this week, and here you are!
Great piece on Focus and Total Immersion. One point you brought up I would emphasize is ‘why’ we are doing it- in other words, what results are we looking to achieve through focused total immersion, as that will not only give us a direction in putting the information to use but will also give us clues to know when we can stop this part of the process. Otherwise we could study on and on and on….!
I look forward to hearing more from you. Let’s talk next week. Thanks!

  8. Catherine says:

Hi Patric, Thank you for your instruction and video. I appreciate your studies in this area, and for sharing your experiences with us.

I do have one suggestion, and that is that you find someone to edit your writing, only because there are many people who will take you less than seriously if you have misspellings and incorrect grammar. I hope you do not mind me saying this. It is meant to be a helpful comment and not a criticism.

    Catherine

  9. huh…Patric, your explanation just actually the malaysian style into my heart and memory, which i mean the first time deeper motivation i saw different from other guru, keep up the good work, you’re different!

  10. DARREN BAILEY JR. says:

THESE VIDEOS AND ARTICLES WERE GREAT. VERY INFORMATIVE. IT’S GOOD TO SEE SOMEONE TELLING THE TRUTH ABOUT “SUCCESS” AND NOT SUGARCOATING THINGS WHICH REALLY DOES’NT HELP ANYONE. I NEED TO FIND A COUPLE MENTORS LIKE YOU HAD. TONY ROBBINS!!?? WOW.

  11. Hi Patric

Thank You for your lesson on Focus. I found it very inspiring and something that I will be able to use in my own life as a marketer. It does open things up for me.

    Thank You
    John

  12. Hello Patric,

When I hear people talk about success I usually hear things that I already know, or know something about or usually already have some idea about……,

Somehow only ‘knowing’ – indeed – isn’t always enough to get your real AHA-moment(s)
So to hear things again, or in a slightly different way sometimes can help to get
    some extra clarity.

    ‘Yes, CLARITY, that’s the word
    that comes to mind’,

You have a clarity that I can appriciate.

    Thanks for your Video,

    All the Best,
    To your Happy Inspiration,
    HP

  14. Teresa says:

Thanks, Patric. I am Teresa, I think I have fallen in the trap of purchasing programs to make money. I have failed so far which is very discouraging also I live with negative statements. What do you recommend for me to do to succeed. I work at the programs, then get to the point aof advertisement (o money, I am in debt), blogs and articles .
Goal: to have enough money to get the things Money can Buy and provide, help my family in Guatemala, my daughter and other less fortunate people.

It so hard when you put the time and money and nothing comes back .
Your articles and videos are excellent and encouraging.

    Hi Patric Chan

It is really great to know you invested a lot of your time, energy and money as well in attending the seminars or so. I am inspired by you. Your explanation of “Total Immersion” drew my attention and led me to think deeply about focus.

I am proud of what you have made of yourself. It sends a very positive vibes or impression that if you have done it, so can I do the same attitude.

Thanks a lot for your free videos.

Patrick thank you for your generous sharing of knowledge, I do understand a lot of what your saying its just hard to overcome the discougement of the past failures so a lot of desire has been driven out of me as of I\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\’m 58 years old and don\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\’t know which way to go at this point. I do want to share something i know is probally the most important part of success and that is action. Like you say if knowlede is all i need then i should be able to go down to the airport and watch the planes take off and land for 90 days and after the end of 90 days i should be able to fly a plane with no other action on my part. I like when you discussed spirtuality and to acknowledge the grace which has been given us. Thank You Patrick

    Hello my friend,
I am in total agreement with “FOCUS”. At 10 i started marshal arts and 3 1/2 years later I became “3rd degree black belt”. The secret was that I have practiced it every single day for two
hours at home. At 20 I started fencing and as before I have practiced it two hours/day, & in less than two years I qualified for the nationals and finished #7. I call it “INTENTION WITHOUT
    RESERVATION”.
    Great JOB

  22. Migen L. Osorio says:

    Dear Patric,
Your video opened my mind as to what leads to success. To be honest, without bragging, I have attained success in many little ways but I have never looked at it the way you put it. Positive thinking can lead to success, but it should be coupled with action. Also, to be successful one must welcome change in one\’s life. Success requires a new set of attitudes to replace that which makes one stay at the bottom or in the doldrums. You have many ideas and I have profited from them in that somehow, in some way, you have helped alter my way of thinking. Kudos!
    Very truly yours,

    (Miss) MIGEN L. OSORIO

  23. moni says:

Hei, I think that\\\\\\\’s all true!
I\\\\\\\’d love to add something from my experience. Sometimes people think that they go into – what you call- total immersion, so they prepare all the circumstances, but focus-also this \\\\\\\’totalfocus\\\\\\\’ in total imm- is an COMPLETELY inside thing.. You have to find a way to just love thinking about your goal.. cause if you have negative thoughts while thinking about it, (any doubts for example), you\\\\\\\’re on a straight way to be off-focus, because you\\\\\\\’ re focusing now on the opposite.. (its like driving car and not focusing on the road because you\\\\\\\’re worry about the trees near the road, so now you\\\\\\\’re focusing on the trees and .. guess what happens then).
And because the biggest dreams are those we fight for years.. oh we have so many negative emotion about it: doubts, fears and so on.
That\\\\\\\’s also why it\\\\\\\’s so easy and fascnating to do new things- you have no negative thoughts about it. (Yet:)
But it is possible also- and this is what the trick is for me- to learn yourself- step by step- to have better and better thoughts about somethng and finnaly come to a place, when you are like a child, for whom nothing is impossible and when you think about your biggest dream You just THRIVE and You just know that nobody cannot stop you.
    best wishes, thx

  24. Tim Wachowicz says:

    Blessings Patrick!

Thanks for the enlightening video on focus. It reminded me how well this being does in a state of immersion in whatever subject I want to learn. Wanting, desirous, or passionate about learning something we are attracted to helps to follow through. You are so right! Thank you for the reminder!
I also saw your video on the difference between knowing how to do it and actually doing it. A series of inspired strategized actions can prove to us that we are on the journey of success rather than sitting on the sidelines watching and wishing. So simple yet so profound! It is all about the journey. You have a way of making information more digestible so as to take some sort of positive step right now. Thank you for your effort and thanking the Universe for your passion to help yourself that is rippling through us all creating happiness for others. When we genuinely help ourselves, everyone benefits. We are all pieces of us. Thanks again Patrick. Thank you Anthony.

  25. Tony Chai says:

    Dear Patrice :

I can relate to staying focused and taking massive action to achieve one’s goal.

But what if someone has passion, faith and confidence to achieve his or her goal but has difficulties achieving it while the expenses keep piling up, especially when one quit a job to pursue this dream?

Suddenly fear, nervousness and loss of confidence become overwhelming and the focus may sway. When the focus is not there, it’s difficult to proceed with any action.

I can only share that if you want to pursue your dream, make sure you learn the necessary skills and take the relevant actions so that “your dream” can bring a regular income before you quit your job. Or make sure you have savings to tie through at least 6 months of your expenses before you take action on your goal on a full-time basis.

I understand it takes persistence and perseverance to achieve your goal. But if it requires you to go back temporary to a job to accumulate the money (to pay your bills) and at the same time to re-learn where you’ve gone wrong, I don’t considered this a failure. We can always go back to pursue our goal when we are ready, as long as we don’t give up.

  26. Jason says:

Hi Sir Patrik, thanks for the awesome inspiring message.

    Best Regards,
    Jason

  27. Dawn says:

Yes, your words regarding total immersion are very true. I appreciate your comments. One thing I can gleam from you is – your “just do it” attitude.

Your English is not perfect – and that’s fine – but some people might let that stop them from persuing goals of public speaking and such. People allow many obsticals to stop them from persuing their dreams. I am happy to see you push forward.

I want to commend you on your “pushforwardtiveness” to accomplish your goals while not letting – what could seem like – hinderances stop you.

You presented a wonderful message. Thank you.

  28. George says:

I have loved the presentations. Theyare simple and articulate. I liked the fact that the compelling reason for sucess should come from inside. I also liked the issue of being focused through total immersion. You are really an excellent motivational speaker. I would love to hear you more and more. Please i would appreciate to be getting the update on the new vedios.

    My best wishes and regards
    George Mulatya
